Where to Find Us
Small Thatched Cottage is conveniently located on the Market Square in the centre of Eynsham which is situated approximately five miles from either Summertown or Botley and six miles from the centre of Witney.
Travelling by Car
Eynsham can be reached easily by car. The town is approximately 15 minutes’ drive either from North Oxford via the A40 or from Botley via the toll bridge over the Thames.
Eynsham is also readily accessible for those travelling from further afield. Past clients have travelled regularly from as far away as Leicester, Derby, Bournemouth, Brighton and Kent. Being located on the A40, Eynsham is well connected with major routes including the M40 and A34.
Travelling by Bus
Eynsham is readily accessible by bus from central Oxford. The S1 Stagecoach bus from Oxford to Witney leaves from George Street and stops at the Market Square in Eynsham (called Eynsham Church stop), less than a minute’s walk from Small Thatched Cottage. Buses leave roughly every 15 minutes throughout the day and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes, or a little longer during the rush hour.
Parking
In consideration of our neighbours, we would kindly ask you not to park outside Small Thatched Cottage in Church Street or on the Market Square. Instead, the main car park can be accessed via Clover Place and provides free parking throughout the day. It is approximately a three-minute walk to Small Thatched Cottage via Conduit Lane.
