Nuance Counselling offers supervision for counsellors working privately or as part of an organisation.  We offer either individual or group supervision and welcome both trainees and those working towards BACP accreditation.

Individual Supervision

Supervision sessions are intended to provide counsellors with the opportunity to:

  • Reflect on their practice and explore new ways of working
  • Develop a different perspective on their work with individual clients
  • Process their responses to clients’ needs to help prevent compassion fatigue
  • Engage with continued professional development by identifying training requirements

 

Fees for individual supervision are charged at £60 per hour.

Group Supervision

Where appropriate, group supervision may be arranged for up to three practitioners, providing additional enrichment that comes from a broader discussion of issues encountered in client work.  Fees are charged at £80 per hour, to be shared equally among members of the group.

Working towards Accreditation

For those working towards accreditation with the BACP, support is offered in the preparation of a portfolio of evidence to meet the assessment criteria.

Supervision for Trainees

Nuance Counselling offers support for those training as counsellors to help develop confidence during the early days of working with clients and in meeting course criteria.  Supervision sessions are charged at preferential rates of a 20% discount to help reduce the high costs of training.
