Lynne Humphreys

Lynne is an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor working with a wide range of clients and issues but with a specialism in Attachment and Trauma Informed practice. She draws on training in Gestalt therapy and Internal Family Systems to help clients explore their feelings, thoughts and behaviours. This could be in the midst or aftermath of distressing events or simply from a desire for personal growth and psychological wellbeing.
After a degree in Psychology and English, her career was in book publishing. Working for large multinational businesses through to small charities, she’s lived and worked in various countries in leadership roles in both education and publishing sectors. She chose to professionally train in psychotherapy after being ‘the client’ herself – experiencing the therapeutic relationship as profound and deeply transformative. She is a registered member of the BACP, the BPS and the ACC.
